The Nattie holds 12 ounces to the brim, though you'll only ever pour it a third full — that empty space above the wine is where a red opens up and starts to smell like something. The bowl is wide and rounded, tapering in at the rim so the aromas stay put, which makes it a fair match for Cabernet, Syrah, a heavier Zinfandel, anything with some weight to it. The glass itself is clear and thin-walled, with a long stem so warm hands stay off the bowl.
At a place setting it sits to the upper right, behind the water goblet. We rent these by the dozen, and most hosts running a Sacramento dinner or a seated reception count on roughly two glasses per guest once you factor in the ones that get set down and lost. Send them back rinsed, not washed; the dishwasher is on us.

How many you'll need
