  • Advertising identifiers, including the Google click identifier (“gclid”) that is added to the link when you reach our site from a Google ad

3. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with our website. This service collects anonymized data about page views, session duration, and user demographics. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We advertise on Google. If you arrive from one of our ads, Google sets advertising cookies in your browser that carry a click identifier, and we use the Google Ads tag to measure which ads lead to enquiries. These cookies also allow us to show our ads again to people who have already visited the site (remarketing).

Measuring enquiries. When you submit a quote or contact form, we send Google a measurement event so we can tell which ad produced the enquiry. To make that match more reliable, the email address and phone number you entered are converted into an irreversible cryptographic hash (SHA-256) inside your browser before they are sent. Google receives only these hashed values, never the readable ones, and uses them solely to match your enquiry to an ad click on our behalf. For this purpose Google acts as our data processor. We also store the click identifier alongside your enquiry so that a genuine enquiry can still be counted if the browser-side measurement is blocked.

You can control or turn off ad personalisation at any time in your Google Ads Settings, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so does not affect your ability to request a quote or use any part of this site.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share your name, readable email address, or readable phone number with advertising platforms.

4. Data Protection

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. Our website uses HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. We do not store payment card information on our servers.

5. Third-Party Services

We may share your information with:

  • Google Analytics (website analytics)
  • Google Ads (measuring which ads produce enquiries, and remarketing — see section 3)
  • Email service providers (to send you communications)
  • Delivery partners (to coordinate rental delivery and pickup)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to unrelated third parties.
